You must have noticed the change in the photo viewing style on Facebook Photos. Facebook calls it theater effect which is quite annoying to many people. From over few years we got used to of visiting photos in the old style and all of a sudden Facebook rolls out this new feature of viewing photos like this. 

Facebook has not given any option to disable this feature and keep using the old way of browsing photos. But there is a small hack which you can apply to get rid of this effect.

While viewing one of the photos, find theater in the url of Facebook in the address bar. Just remove it and press enter. The theater effect would be gone and you can browse photos the way you used to do. To keep it more simple, you can also Reload the page (or Press F5) to stop this effect.
