So I got the Pop Up and I upgraded to the New Facebook Message. I got an email address @facebook.com, Well if you already have selected the username (as they were introduced more than a year ago), you will get the email address of username@facebook.com.

Now, We already had the Private message and chat feature in Facebook, what ahs been added is the ability to Message (with Facebook email address)  people who are outside Facebook and receive messages from them.

I sent an email to my new Facebook email from my Gmail and it look something like this ( below image).
