Track Visitors of Your Website in Real Time- List of Analytics

July 3rd, 2010 | by Asif

If you have got a website or blog, you might want to know where your website visitors come from. You can track them by Installing a little piece of code given by Analytic Websites. You just need to register there, add your website or blog  and put the code in your Website given by them . Analytics tell you everything about your visitors from their IP Address, Browsers to Operating Systems.

There are many Free Analytics available on the net. I am putting few of them in this post.

Google Analytics

It is on of the most popular analytic among webmasters, gives all the details about your visitors but it doesn’t provide stats in real time. Even if it does not track visitors in real time, You should use it as it provides in depth information about visits on your website which can help you improve your website’s performance.

Real Time Analytics

Stat Counter

I have used them, they are pretty cool, you can add counter buttons to your website to show how many people visited your website.

Get Clicky

Get Clicky provides real time analytics and it is somewhat like Google Analytics (GA) but the free account has few limitations. It’s better then Stat Counter.

Site Meter

Site Meter is also a real time analytic and is used by many big webmasters. This one too works like GA provides in depth information about visitors.

Woopra

Woopra is quite innovative real time analytic service which lets your track visitors right from your desktop. They provide an application which you can install on your Computer.

Real Time Analytics for BlogSpot Blogs

Recently Google introduced the inbuilt feature of tracking real time visitors for BlogSpot Blogs, it’s very tough to put third party codes (codes given by analytics I have mentioned above) in a BlogSpot blog, so you should use this feature to track visitors. This one also looks similar to Google Analytics.

Analytics for Web Based Business

KissMetrics is a service that helps web based business track visitors to their sites and see that what pages are converting. They can also put mini surveys on the website to get feedback from visitors in real time. It helps them track the conversions from visitors to a customer.
