image8 Publish Your Blog Posts With Windows Live Writer Wave 4 If you ask any blogger, who has been blogging since a while, he will be knowing about this great application. I have been using it from 2007 and it has saved a lot of my time, there are so many bloggers who don’t know about it, It’s a free blog publishing platform by Microsoft. It can be download from the Microsoft Site.

Microsoft has released the next version of Windows Live Essentials. Which has the next version of Windows Live Writer. I I just started using  it and thought to review it for you.

This version has got a whole new look and now gives your the look and feel of Microsoft Office. You will find no sidebar as it has been removed and all the options have been moved up.image11 Publish Your Blog Posts With Windows Live Writer Wave 4

image7 Publish Your Blog Posts With Windows Live Writer Wave 4 Earlier version was good and you won’t get any new feature in this version, what I was able to find that it has again enabled the option to put photos from websites without hosting them to your site. which was missing in the earlier version.

Also, now you can add effects in your photos right inside the windows live writer, you won’t have use paint or any other photo editing software.

The only problem is that, you will have to learn few things to get used to it, as all the options have been shifted to different tabs.

When you page a picture, another tab is formed above (format) you can will find all the things which were there in the sidebar.

Also, if you can now control to which size the images will open if they are hyperlinked to the source file.

Categories, Tags Post Slugs etc has been moved on the top. Also, you can now choose different fonts to write your posts, and save them as drafts on the blog on on your Computer.

I like this new version of Windows Live Writer, But I sometimes forget to tweak few things as all the options have been moved here and there. But I’ll give it a thumbs up.
